This is a small travel project I started a little while ago.  It’s small, simple, and uses only one color, which makes it convenient to stitch on the road.  This was near the Bare Mountains, outside Beatty, Nevada, a small desert town on the outskirts of Death Valley.  It was just a few seconds after sunset, as you can see from the disappearing golden glow on the tips of the mountains.
